Zusammenfassung:	A compressor includes a discharge chamber, compressor chamber, valve plate, and discharge reed valve. The valve plate includes a fixing surface, exposed to the discharge chamber, and a discharge port, which communicates the discharge chamber and the compression chamber. The discharge reed valve includes a fixed portion, fixed to the fixing surface, a base portion, separable from the valve plate, and a valve portion, which closes the discharge port. The valve plate includes an annular seal surface, recessed groove, receiving surface, and support surface. The seal surface contacts the valve portion around the discharge port. The recessed groove is arranged in the fixing surface outward from the seal surface. The receiving surface is flush with the fixing surface and contacts a distal region of the valve portion. The support surface is flush with the fixing surface and contacts a central region of the valve portion.
