Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a paper container suitable for being heated by a microwave oven and the like and a manufacturing method thereof, which can be used for ensuring rigidity of a flange part and preventing the flange part from distorting, and reducing the overall weight to realize miniaturization. The paper container comprises a cup part (2) and a flange part (5), wherein the cup part (2) has a bottom cylinder shape formed by extending a blank which is formed by paper material; the flange part (5) is formed by continuous resin from the upper end part (3a) of the cup part (2); the flange part (5) comprises a cylinder-shaped part (12) around a circumferential wall part (3) of the cup part (2) and an annular panel part (13) horizontally extending outside the cylinder-shaped part (12); and under the state of covering the upper end surface (3b) of the circumferential wall part (3) of the cup part (2), the cylinder-shaped part (12) is fixed by overlapping one part of the circumferential part (3).
