The preparation method comprises the step of uniformly mixing the following components in parts by weight: 10 to 20 parts of a daphne odera extract, 10 to 15 parts of garlic extract, 5 to 15 parts of peanut extract, 7 to 18 parts of orange peel extract, 3 to 9 parts of mint extract and 20 to 30 parts of deionized water so as to obtain the nontoxic electric mosquito liquid. The nontoxic electric mosquito liquid prepared by the method can effectively repel mosquitoes and is harmless to the health of people.
