Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a firefighting management system and method. The system comprises a collecting sensing system, a network transmission system and a back-stage management system. The collecting sensing system comprises a fire hydrant status sensor for collecting status information on a fire hydrant; the network transmission system is used for sending the status information on the fire hydrant to the back-stage management system in a wired or wireless mode; and the back-stage management system is used for receiving the status information on the fire hydrant so as to monitor the status of the fire hydrant. The collecting sensing system further comprises a fire detector for monitoring a fire. The network transmission system sends fire information collected in the wired or wireless mode to the back-stage management system; and according to the back-stage management system, a fire scene is judged, and the appropriate fire hydrant is selected for navigation for a fire truck or workers according to the status i
