Outdoor access point and antenna adjusting method thereof

The invention relates to an antenna adjusting method for an outdoor access point. The antenna adjusting method includes the steps of A, moving an antenna within a predetermined pointed range and obtaining received signal strength indication values of a plurality of positions at different time points; B, separating the pointed range into at least two secondary ranges and computing an average received signal strength indication value of all positions in each secondary range; C, moving the antenna to point to the secondary range with the highest average received signal strength indication value, determining the secondary range with the highest average received signal strength indication value as the next pointed range, and repeating the steps from A to B until the step C is implemented for preset times. The invention further discloses components forming the outdoor access point.
