Service group classifying method and system

An embodiment of the invention provides service group classifying method and system. The method includes: acquiring relational data of to-be-classified groups from a social relation information base; calculating density of the to-be-classified groups according to the relational data; comparing the density of the to-be-classified groups to a preset density threshold to obtain a comparison result; and determining sorts of the groups according to the comparison result. Classification of the service groups is objective and correct, the service groups are subsequently subjected to characteristic analysis on the basis of the objective classified groups, and information and knowledge can be shared in the service groups specifically.
