Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a rare metal recovery electrode weight gaining method and an apparatus thereof. The method mainly comprises the following process steps that: titanium, zirconium, other rear metals having the same material and the same grade, and alloys are divided into an electrode raw material and an addition material, wherein the electrode raw material is made into a self-consumption electrode; vacuum self-consumption arc melting is adopted to melt the self-consumption electrode into drops, the self-consumption electrode melting drops fall into a crucible in a vacuum self-consumption arc furnace to carry out smelting, and a continuous material feeding device is adopted to add the addition material to the crucible in batch to finally complete melting, condensation and ingot forming of the self-consumption electrode and the addition material so as to prepare the recovery electrode and complete recovery electrode weight gaining.
