The subject disclosure is directed towards task switching technology of a computing device such as an intelligent mobile and formed by one or more than one tasks. When a user requires to execute another task, information of prior execution information (e.g., including screenshot) is stored in a stack. If a user calls a task switching program, views of stack is present to the user, e.g., including screenshot executed before (and representative text). The user can choose perform navigation among presented tasks to choose any one and the selected task restores execution upon selecting.
