Zusammenfassung:The disclosed lubricating oil composition has a kinematic viscosity of 30 mm2/s to 750 mm2/s at 40 DEG C, contains 5 ppm to 75 ppm of boron atoms, and contains the following (i) to (iii) (wherein the total of (i) to (iii) is 100% by mass): (i) 90 to 10% by mass of a (co)polymer that has a kinematic viscosity of 45 mm2/s or less at 100 DEG C, in which 60% by mole or more of the constitutional units thereof is 1-decene, and that has an acid value of less than 0.1 mgKOH/g; (ii) 5 to 85% by mass of a (co)polymer that has a kinematic viscosity of 35 mm2/s to 1,500 mm2/s at 100 DEG C, in which 90% by mole or more of the constitutional units thereof is 1-octene, and that has a molecular-weight distribution of 1.8 or less; and (iii) 5 to 15% by mass of a fatty acid ester.
