Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a belt-driving roller that can be manufactured at low cost for driving a wire mesh belt used as a conveyor belt in a circulating manner, and also provided is a food manufacturing apparatus using the driving roller. A belt-driving roller comprises: a rotation shaft; and toothed rollers concentrically attached to the outer circumference of the rotation shaft. The toothed roller comprises: a cylindrical base part on the outer circumference of which teeth are provided in a plurality of rows to engage with a wire mesh belt; and an attachment means for attaching the base part to the rotation shaft. The belt-driving roller is used in a food manufacturing apparatus.
