Device for manually retracting/expanding platform safety pedal

The invention relates to a device for manually retracting/expanding a platform safety pedal. If the safety pedal does not automatically operate, the safety pedal on the platform side is manually operated by the device, thus the device can effectively react to special cases. The device comprises: a rectangular frame installed on the platform; a cover for sealing the top of the frame; the safety pedal expanded from the frame towards the front surface of the frame or retracted into the frame; a motor arranged in the frame; a worm shaft mounted on a mandrel of the motor; a turbine cooperatively rotating with the worm shaft and used for making the safety pedal expanded from the frame or retracted into the frame; an X axle bevel gear mounted on one end of the worm shaft, and a Y axle bevel gear engaged and mounted on the X axle bevel gear; and a manually retracting/expanding device arranged on the top of the Y axle bevel gear, and used for operating the bevel gear on the outer surface of the cover.
