Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a water-based coating composition which can attain excellent corrosion resistance. The water-based coating composition comprises: (A) an amine-modified epoxy resin obtained by modifying an epoxy resin that has a molecular weight of 2000 or more and that bears a bisphenol skeleton with an amine compound; and (C) a water-insoluble plasticizer that has a boiling point of 200 DEG C or higher.
