The invention discloses a production method for a natural sandstone-imitating ceramic tile. The production method includes the following steps: according to the conventional process, spray-dried powder as main powder, the moisture content of which is 5 to 8 percent, is prepared with basic formula slurry; the prepared spray-dried powder is dried until the moisture content is less than 3 percent, powder granules, the granularity of which ranges from 60 meshes to 100 meshes, are screened out as effect powder; the effect powder and the main powder are mixed as mixed powder according to the weight ratio of 1:3 to 33; all or part of the mixed powder is batched and formed into the adobe of the ceramic tile; and according to the conventional process, the adobe is pressed to be shaped and fired in a kiln. The ceramic tile obtained by the production method is rich in textures and colors, and has diversified decorative effects and a highly vivid natural sandstone granule-like effect.
