Method of receiving/transmitting event message, controlled device, and control point

An event message receiving method, an event message transferring method, a controlled device and a control point are provided to receive information about the state change of application from the controlled device and to manage the installation, update, and delete of the application from the controlled device. An application in a controlled device through network is installed. A beginning message includes a parameter specifying a service of services included in the application. The beginning message requests the beginning operation of the application and is transmitted to the controlled device. A network is based on UPnP(Universal Plug and Play). The event message is formed in XML(extensible markup language).
