Modified graphite electrode for electrolysis and preparation method thereof

The invention provides a modified graphite electrode for electrolysis and a preparation method thereof and relates to the technical field of electrodes for the electrolysis. The modified graphite electrode for the electrolysis is composed of a graphite body and an activated layer, wherein the graphite body is composed of graphite sheets, and the activated layer is attached to the graphite body surface. The modified graphite electrode is characterized in that the activated layer is directly obtained from the graphite body processed by resin impregnation liquid which contains a titanium compound, wherein the resin impregnation liquid is vinyl type resin, phenolic resin or epoxy resin. The preparation method includes processing the graphite sheets of the graphite body on requests; immersing the graphite sheets into the resin impregnation liquid which contains the titanium compound; drying at a temperature of 60 DEG C to 240 DEG C; and polishing the surface of the electrode smoothly.
