Method for determining temperature uniformity of R5-grade mooring chain in heat treatment furnace

A method for determining the temperature uniformity of a R5-grade mooring chain in a heat treatment furnace comprises a step of drilling a small hole in a straight body of a monitoring ring at one side, wherein the hole is 5mm in diameter and the depth of the hole is 30% of the diameter; a step of installing two thermocouples on the monitoring ring, wherein a surface thermocouple is installed on the surface of a straight body of a chain ring and a core thermocouple is installed in a small hole of a straight body of the core, and the hole is sealed with fire clay; a step of carrying out a normal process, wherein signals returned by the surface thermocouple and the core thermocouple indicate the temperatures of the surface and the core of the monitoring chain ring; and a step of comparing the temperatures with the temperature inside the heat treatment furnace so as to obtain a real temperature condition in the furnace.
