The invention provides a program, an information processing apparatus and an information processing method to change the content location information of a digital slideshow. The information processing apparatus includes a control unit that retrieves control information for reproducing a plurality of content data. The control information includes order information indicating an order of reproduction of the plurality of content data. The control information also includes location information indicative of a location of the plurality of content data. In addition, the control unit controls a communication unit to send a signal to transfer content data to an address associated with a remote device. Further, the control unit changes the location information in the control information to another location information indicating a location of the plurality of content data sent to the remote device. The control unit additionally controls the communication unit to send the changed control information.
