The invention provides a novel hydraulic elevator power device comprising an ascending bypass current speed regulation system, a descending current limiting speed regulation system and an ascending-descending standby system, wherein the ascending bypass current speed regulation system mainly comprises a bypass throttle valve, a one-way check valve, a two-position two-way valve, a proportioning valve, a fast ascending electromagnetic valve, a slow ascending electromagnetic valve and an energy storage; the descending current limiting speed regulation system mainly comprises a three-position two-way valve, a slow descending electromagnetic valve, a fast descending electromagnetic valve and a counterbalance valve.
