Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an adjustable vane cell pump having a rotor which comprises bearing slots extending in radial direction carrying vane plates displaceable relative to the bearing slots. The vane cell pump also comprises an adjustable stator having a substantially cylindrical inner surface, the rotor is designed to be driven to rotate about a rotation axis inside the stator, and the vane plates bears against the inner surface of the stator. Furthermore, the stator has first and second end faces and recesses extending circumferentially and parallel to the end faces.
