The invention relates to a solar converter system and a control method thereof. The solar converter system comprises a first converter, a second converter and a controller. The first converter is provided with a first input end and a first output end, wherein the first input end is coupled with a solar panel. The second converter is provided with a second input end and a second output end, wherein the second input end is coupled with the solar panel, and the first output end and the second output end are in parallel connection into a mains supply network. The controller is coupled with the first converter and the second converter, wherein the controller is used for selectively controlling the first converter and the second converter to output total output power alternatively, or controlling the first converter and the second converter to output the total output power simultaneously.
