Zusammenfassung:	In a liquid crystal display device including a backlight unit that irradiates the entire image formation region with light from light emitting diodes disposed in a concentrated manner, in order to efficiently diffuse heat generated from the light emitting diodes, provided is a liquid crystal display device (1), including: a liquid crystal panel (3); and a backlight unit (10) including in order from a front surface side: a reflection sheet (6), which is disposed on a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel (3) and is curved so as to have a concave front surface; a light emitting diode substrate (7) on which a plurality of light emitting diodes are disposed along a longitudinal direction; and a radiator plate (8), in which a length of the radiator plate (8) in a width direction is larger than a length of the light emitting diode substrate (7) in the width direction.
