The invention relates to a ginseng planting technique, in particular to a method for transplanting ginseng in a farmland, which includes: a, selecting spring transplanting or autumn transplanting, namely transplanting in October in autumn before freezing climate, or transplanting in April in spring before buds germinate; b, transplanting annual ginseng seedlings to the same land for growth for 4-5 years, which accords to the ginseng planting standard; and c, adopting the mode of 1:4 or 1:5 in transplanting, namely allowing to grow mature for 4 years or 5 years for sale one year after transplanting, using impact plates to dig ditches for transplanting, complying with the row spacing of 20cm while each row including 12 plants, performing erect-planting or incline-planting, covering with a soil layer 3-4cm thick, and covering with a rice straw layer or a chopped corn straw layer 4-5cm thick after covering with the soil. The method breaks through the traditional concept of transplanting 2-3 years grown seedlings,
