The invention discloses a power assisting device with a torsion rod spring for a reversing plate type extended square cabin. The power assisting device comprises the torsion rod spring; one end of the torsion rod spring is fixed on a fixed baseplate of the extended square cabin through a first torsion rod spring seat; the other end of the torsion rod spring is fixed on an extended baseplate of the extended square cabin through a second torsion rod spring; the extended baseplate can carry out overturning operation by using the torsion rod spring as an overturning shaft; and hinged plates are connected between the torsion rod spring and the fixed baseplate and between the torsion rod spring and the extended baseplate. The power assisting device solves the defects of complex structure, large kinetic resistance, difficulty in maintenance, much space occupation and the like existing in the traditional power assisting device.
