The preparation method comprises the steps of preparing a component A and a component B; and mixing the components A and B at a ratio of (8-10):(1-2), and uniformly stirring to obtain the solvent-based two-component wind turbine blade protective primer. The protective primer prepared by the method provided by the invention has the advantages of excellent adhesion, rapid drying speed and good compatibility, is suitable for thick film coating, and improves work efficiency.
