Zusammenfassung:	A pneumatic tire having a carcass and a belt reinforcing structure is described. The carcass comprises at least one inner ply which is wound around an annular bead member and extends radially outward towards a tread forming a turnup end. The tire further includes a rubber apex located radially outward of the bead member and having a radially outer end, wherein the turnup end is located axially outward of the rubber apex. The tire also comprises a reinforcement member having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is positioned adjacent the rubber apex and the second end is radially outward of the rubber apex outer end.
