Zusammenfassung:The device has an outlet opening (24) for discharging a medium that is atomized to a spray jet with a main travelling direction and a beam profile. A pair of diametrically opposing, stationary beam shaped units (34) is arranged with respect to the opening and provided for directing form fluid on the spray jet for forming the beam profile of the spray jet. Another pair of diametrically opposing beam shaped units is arranged in an angle position with respect to an axis of the opening and controlled independent of the former pair of beam shaped units. An independent claim is also included for a method for coating a subject matter with a medium.
