Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a method for preparing meta-aramid fiber. The method comprises the following steps of: adding meta-phenylene diamine into a polar solvent; reducing the temperature to be between -10 DEG C and 10 DEG C; gradually adding meta-phthaloyl chloride for reaction; regulating the pH of a reaction solution to be neutral after the reaction; filtering to obtain a spinning solution; heating the spinning solution to the temperature of between 50 DEG C and 120 DEG C; ejecting the spinning solution into a channel through a spinning plate; and removing the solvent in the fiber through a gaseous medium in the channel, and solidifying and molding the fiber to obtain as-spun fiber; soaking the as-spun fiber in a mixed solution of water and organic solvents for certain time; and performing water-washing drawing, drying, molding after heat treatment, cooling and oiling to obtain the meta-aramid fiber.
