The coolant liquid comprises ethylene glycol, monobasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, alkali metal salt of the monobasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, dibasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, alkali metal salt of the dibasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, benzoic acid, fluoride, alkyl-amide, polyol ester, triazole compound, deionized water and defoamer. Through optimal combination of monobasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, dibasic aliphatic carboxylic acid, aromatic acid and triazole compound, the coolant liquid suitable for the magnesium aluminum alloy engine solves the problem of corrosion of metal except for magnesium alloy of an automobile cooling system.
