Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for mitigating membrane fouling in a membrane bioreactor. The method is characterized in that adding of a water-soluble iron compound into treatment water is realized in inflow water before the water enters the membrane bioreactor, with the compound added at a concentration of 10-150mg/L in terms of ferric irons. The method of the invention overcomes the disadvantage that adding of a water-soluble iron compound into a mixed solution can generate unsatisfactory membrane fouling mitigating effect practically in prior art, can obviously reduce membrane pollution, and can reduce the average growth rate of TMP (transmembrane pressure) by 8-12%.
