Method for producing objects with defined structured surface

The invention relates to a method for producing objects with a structured, preferably optically active, surface which has different structure heights in different positions, in particular for producing lenticular discs. According to the invention, the following process steps are provided: applying onto a carrier (1) a still liquid plastic layer (2) consisting of a plastic material that cures upon application of energy, smoothing the surface of the liquid plastic layer (2), applying energy to the plastic material, wherein the amount of energy to be applied per time unit is locally different depending on the structure height to be obtained in each case, such that as a result of the energy application different amounts of not yet cured and already cured plastic material, respectively, are present in different positions of the surface and the plastic material not yet cured is removed and the remaining cured plastic material defines an optically active structure.
