Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a fuel system (10) for an internal combustion engine (12) in particular of a motor vehicle, comprising a prefeed pump (26), a high pressure pump (30), a dosing device (36) hydraulically arranged between the prefeed pump (26) and the high pressure pump (30), and a zero feed line (38) for disposing of leakages of the dosing device (36). In the fuel system (10), suction means are arranged in the zero feed line (38), or on the downstream end thereof.
