Method and device for determining preferential section of communication user

The invention provides a method and a device for determining the preferential section of a communication user. The method comprises the following steps of: determining the geographical position of the communication user according to a subdistrict registered by the communication user; determining a subdistrict spacing a distance within a default initial value from the geographical position of the communication user to be a preferential subdistrict; and taking the preferential subdistrict and the registered subdistrict as the preferential section of the communication user. According to the method and the device, no special requirements on a wireless support system exist, and thus, the cost is lowered; and no primary service subdistrict exists, the defects of low efficiency and low accuracy caused by the setting of the main service subdistrict are avoided, so that the efficiency and the accuracy in the determination of the preferential section are improved.
