| Zusammenfassung: | The antenna (10) has a planar radiator element (102) i.e. patch antenna, arranged on a substrate (101), and a cover plate (301) made from a dielectric to cover the radiator element. The cover plate has a cavity (302) in a region of the radiator element, where microwaves generated by the radiator element are coupled in the cavity. The cover plate is surface-flush mounted on the substrate in an edge region of the cavity and supports against pressure forces that act on the cover plate. The cover plate is made of aluminum-containing ceramic materials e.g. aluminum oxide ceramics. The cavity is formed as an antenna horn, a circular cylinder or a cylinder with polygon. |
