The invention discloses an oil level alarming device of an electric device of a transformer substation. An oil level sensor is arranged in an oil indication pipe of the electric device of the transformer substation and is respectively connected with an oil level indicating meter and a joint alarming device so that when the oil level inside an oil tank of the electric device of the transformer substation rises beyond the predetermined maximum limit, a float of the liquid level sensor floats upwards so as to change a resistance value of a variable resistor arranged on the oil level sensor and enable the size of current passing through a coil of an oil meter to change, thereby changing magnetic force, enabling an oil meter indicator of the oil level indicating meter to point at a position of an overhigh oil level of the oil tank, connecting the joint of the joint alarming device, and sending alarm to remind operator of the overhigh oil level and to remind the operator to find out causes and take measures.
