Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a light-storing pigment with molecular formula being Sr4AL14O25 or SrAL2O4. The pigment is characterized in that SiO2, AL and Ti coating layers are arranged on the surface of the pigment; Sr4AL14O25.SiO2.AL2O3.TiO2 and SrAL2O4.SiO2.AL2O3.TiO2 are formed after coating; and in the coating layers, the coating amount of SiO2 is 2-10%. The invention also discloses a coating method of the light-storing pigment. After undergoing coating, the light-storing pigment has good application performance, has good dispersibility, water resistance and light resistance in application and can be widely applied to signposts in coating and plastic products, secure channel indicators, security indicators of expressways and the like.
