The display method comprises the following steps of: segmenting ordinary-frame-rate three-dimensional video data into multilayer ordinary-frame-rate two-dimensional video data with different depths; recombining the multilayer ordinary-frame-rate two-dimensional video data with different depths into high-frame-rate two-dimensional video data; projecting the high-frame-rate two-dimensional video data into a three-dimensional space full of micro particles by a projection method; and projecting linear light rays into the three-dimensional space full of the micro particles from a direction vertical to a projection direction, and simultaneously controlling projection positions of the linear light rays to synchronously change with positions in front of and behind the two-dimensional video data before segmentation so that a three-dimensional active video image can be formed in the three-dimensional space full of the micro particles.
