The invention relates to a refrigerator, which aims at preventing error detection of an operation part in the refrigerator provided with an electrostatic capacitance type touch switch operation part. The refrigerator in the invention is characterized by comprising: a storage chamber disposed at the refrigerator main body; a storage chamber door opening and closing an opening at the front part of the storage chamber; an operation part disposed in the front of the storage chamber door in a plane shape; an electrostatic capacitance type touch switch electrode disposed in a contact with or close to the rear part of the operation part; a contact sensor element detecting change of the electrostatic capacitance of the switch electrode; and wiring connected with the switch electrode and the contact sensor element, the wiring is disposed in a way of preventing a projection position of fingers during operation of the switch electrode.
