Method for impregnating special shaped catalyst carrier

The invention provides a method for impregnating a special shaped catalyst carrier. The method comprises the following steps: 1) placing the special shaped catalyst carrier into a rotatable drum; 2) atomizing impregnation liquid into liquid drops by an atomizing nozzle, introducing the liquid drops into the rotatable drum in the step 1) at a flow of 3-4L/min, and continuously adding the liquid drops for 40-50 minutes so that the special shaped catalyst and the atomized impregnation liquid drops contact completely in the rotatable drum; and 3) after atomizing operation is finished, keeping the carrier in the rotatable drum for 10-15 minutes. The method provided by the invention is suitable for various special shaped catalyst carriers and is capable of keeping the contact of the liquid and the carrier at a moderate state, thereby reducing the cracks and surface flaws of the carrier.
