A time recording unit (18) measures operation period of the power unit. The control unit represents the operation period of the power unit on the clear text display at an operation state. The user interface comprises an input unit (26), which makes display of the operation period on the clear text display by the control unit. The power unit is a heat zone (20a) of a cooking hob.
