More specifically, the invention relates to a method for the production of adipic acid, carried out in devices, some of which are made from a material resistant to nitric corrosion. The corrosion-resistant material is a duplex ferritic-austenitic stainless steel of type X2 CrNiN23-4 (1.4362) according to European nomenclature.
