Electrolytic capacitor and manufacturing method therefor

The purpose of this invention is to securely stitch together an electrode foil and a lead terminal, without tearing of the foil or the like even if the etching ratio of the electrode foil is high, and to improve the electrical and mechanical connection of said stitch connection. Provided is an electrolytic capacitor in which a lead terminal is laid on top of an electrode foil having a through-hole formed therein, a stitch needle is pushed through the electrode foil from the side with the lead terminal, forming a lead terminal burr and an electrode foil burr on the reverse side of the electrode foil, and said burrs are pressed, thereby connecting the electrode foil and the lead terminal. On at least one side of the abovementioned through-hole in the electrode foil, an electrode foil burr and a lead terminal burr are formed on the reverse side of the electrode foil and said burrs are pressed, thereby connecting the electrode foil and the lead terminal.
