Electric connector

The invention provides an electric connector (10). The electric connector (10) has a housing layer (10) which is not prone to deformation even a corresponding connector in unclenched. The electric connector can maintain stable connection without easy defective connection. The electric connector (10) which is detachably embedded with two or one corresponding connector comprises a contact part (26) contacting the corresponding connector and contacts (20) with the same number as that of connecting parts (22) equipped on a base plate, an insulator (30) keeping and arranging the contacts (20), and a housing layer (60) covering the insulator (30) and forming an embedding opening (62) for the corresponding connector to enter. The electric connector (10) is characterized in that at least the inserting hole part of the housing layer (60) on the side where the corresponding connector is inserted and which is opposite to the base plate installing side is provided with a reinforcing part (66).
