The invention mainly relates to a turbocharger (1') comprising a turbine (3'), coupling means (5') and a compressor (7'), characterised in that, when looking in the direction (X-X') from the compressor (7') towards the turbine (3'), the rotary members of the compressor rotate in a direct trigonometric direction. The invention also relates to a turbocharger (1') that comprises a turbine (3'), a compressor (7'), and coupling means for the turbine (3') and the compressor (7'), characterised in that, when looking in the direction (X-X') from the compressor (7') towards the turbine (3'), the rotary members of the turbine rotate in a direct trigonometric direction. The invention can particularly be used in the automotive industry and mainly in the field of supply turbochargers for internal combustion engines.
