Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a hammer drill device with a shifting device (12). The shifting device comprises a drill shift sleeve (14), an impact shift sleeve (16) and a locking element (18). The locking element comprises the following components: a locking unit (20) which is used for locking a cutter chuck (22) at least in the operation of the drill and comprises at least one guiding unit (24). The invention suggests that the locking unit (20) is configured behind the guiding unit (24) seen in a main operation direction (26).
