Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method of controlling the privacy setting of the media consumption. According to one embodiment of the invention, a media server system is provided. The media server system is arranged for receiving the media consumption data of media content projects. The media consumption data of each of the media content projects comprises a project-specified privacy state and a media content project identifier. The server is also arranged for receiving one or more requests of the media consumption data. Based on the privacy status of the media consumption data, the visit to the media consumption data is provided.
