Zusammenfassung:	A system comprises an on-board unit (UOBU), which is in the form of a tachograph (DTCO), and comprises at least one position-finding device (POS) and/or at least one radio communication device (COM) which can be coupled to the on-board unit (UOBU) for the purpose of use by the on-board unit (UOBU) or are included by the latter. The on-board unit (UOBU) has at least one function of at least one of the following vehicle devices, and the on-board unit (UOBU) is designed to replace the respective vehicle device in terms of said at least one function: toll collection device (MOBU), event data capture device (EDR), emergency call device (ECALL), transport monitoring device (TRANS), vehicle course monitoring device (POSTRACK), fleet management device (FLOT).
