Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an intelligent service failure processing method and a signaling transfer point (STP). The method comprises that: the STP receives a message for triggering an intelligent service from a service switching point (SSP); after receiving the message for triggering the intelligent service, the STP judges whether a service control point (SCP) is abnormal or not; and if the SCP is judged to be abnormal and bypass processing is required, the STP transmits the message for indicating the SSP to continue service connection to the SSP. The embodiment of the invention can be unconstrained by an end office, and has a wider application range.
