The LED chip provided by the invention comprises a substrate (1), an N-type gallium nitride layer (2) formed above the substrate (1), an active layer (3) formed above the N-type gallium nitride layer (2), a P-type gallium nitride layer (4) formed above the active layer (3) and a transparent electrode (5) formed above the P-type gallium nitride layer (4), wherein the lower surface of the substrate (1) is plated with a reflecting layer (8). According to the LED chip provided by the invention, the reflectivity of back light of the LED chip is high, and the light emitting efficiency is improved.
