Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an AN-VDC (acrylonitrile-vinylidene chloride) copolymer fiber used for battery plates and a production method thereof. Polydimethyl siloxane is doped in the AN-VDC copolymer fiber; and in the production method, only one pass of oiling process is performed on fiber bundles after drafting, the fiber bundles are treated by polydimethyl siloxane emulsion and dried, and then the fiber bundles directly enter a cutting process. The invention also discloses a novel battery plate in which short cut fiber formed by cutting the AN-VDC copolymer fiber is added. According to the production method of the AN-VDC copolymer fiber disclosed by the invention, the traditional process flow is improved, and polydimethyl siloxane is doped into the produced AN-VDC copolymer fiber, so thatthe crease resistance, dispersibility and anti-sag property are improved, and the AN-VDC copolymer fiber can be cut into short cut fibers easily.
