Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for recycling wastewater generated in the process of producing 2,6-dibromo-4-methylaniline by a substitution method. The wastewater generated in the process of producing 2,6-dibromo-4-methylaniline cannot be recycled, and thus, the method for recycling the wastewater comprises the following steps of: 1, adding proper amount of active carbon into the wastewater, filtering the wastewater, collecting filtrate, weighing 250kg of filtrate, and then adding 20kg of hydrochloric acid with the mass concentration of 18 to 25 percent; 2, heating to the temperature of 60 to 80 DEG C, adding 10.7kg of molten paratoluidine into the filtrate, dripping 16kg of bromine into the filtrate after the molten paratoluidine is dissolved, and carrying out heat preservation for 30 minutes; and 3, reducing the temperature of the filtrate to the temperature of 40 to 50 DEG C, dripping 3.7kg of aqueous solution of sodium chlorate, which has the mass concentration of 15 percent, into the filtrate, then ca
